DLIA Spring Meeting Notice 2025
The Spring Meeting of the Deer Lake Improvement Association will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Farmington Fire Hall, 119 Elliotsville Road, Farmington PA. Registration will begin at 8:30 AM.
Any members who are not current in their payment of all dues, fines and assessments, and/or whose membership privileges have been suspended, are not eligible to attend the meeting or vote.
The purpose of this meeting is to:
1. Vote on proposed changes to the member annual assessment for the first time in 5 years, to allow budgeting for increased costs and to begin building a reserve fund. Under the proposal: The annual house assessment will remain relatively level at $500. Each member’s first lot assessment will increase to $500; additional lot assessments will decrease to $100. The 8 members with “parcels” will now be assessed comparably to “lot” owner sizing. The annual increase for most members will be in the $150-$350 range; some parcel owners will experience higher increases. Other details will be provided as noted below.
2. To provide the membership with reports from the various officers and committees and to transact such other business as may properly come before the meeting.
More information and documentation is typically provided a week or so before the meeting to those members with an email on file with the Association. This information will also be available here on the Deer Lake website. Paper copies of any handouts will be available at the meeting.
We hope you will attend - The Deer Lake Board of Directors
